I love St Mary's of Birch Run. The staff is friendly, the nurse practitioners are knowledgeable and very good to me. In all the years of going here, I have never had a bad experience. I hope I can stay here for years to come.
I too am very unhappy with this doctors office. I have stayed a year longer than I should have. The staff is unorganized and rude. My husband had an appointment for yearly physical and blood work . When he arrived for the appointment they had no clue what he was talking about. I just recently waited 4 weeks for a med to be refilled. Now a week for a refill to be refilled and it is yet to be filled. Would not recommend this office. I will be looking elsewhere and not Ascension based.
Dr Hashmi is by far the best Healthcare provider I've ever had. He has gone so far above and beyond the call of duty that it just blew my mind. Compassion, patience, and just a willingness to serve his patients. Every time I've been admitted into the hospital, Dr Hashmi has come to see how I was doing or if there was anything he could do. Compassion such as his is what is missing today in the medical field!
The doctor turnover is on he frequent flier program. If you plan to keep your doctor then this place is not for you. The staff is very rude on almost every occasion I have had to deal with them in the past year. I got tired of the nurses talking to me like I was stupid. I was a patient here for over 8 years and finally had had enough. They are unorganized and failed to send me my blood work paperwork 2 times after I repeatedly reminded them. My new doctor's office does it without even giving me paperwork because it's done in house and immediately. I'm a much happier and healthier person since I've left.
Dr. Hashmi is awesome, he is very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. It is also good to be able to get last minute appointments for acute issues and waiting times are the shortest I'd ever experienced with any primary care provider.
